In its 18th year, the Rotary Club of Tucson Foundation has been able to donate to our community – thanks to you and our hard working generous Partners.

We have listened to you and have added some new classes and awards for 2024. Most notably, we are including classes for Resto-Mod/Pro-Touring and Tuners. In order to make sure we have a great variety of vehicles we have put a limit on each class. Any registrations that come in once that quota is filled will be put on a wait list and contacted if space becomes available.

Rotary Club of Tucson Foundation Charities for 2024

Creating Pathways out of Poverty; Positive futures for Youth; and Shelters for Women in Need.

Pima Community College Center of Opportunity

Pima Community College Center of Opportunity received $80,710 for the 2024 Car Show Pima Community College Foundation and Pima Community College’s Workforce Program is geared to provide a pathway out of poverty for residents in temporary housing at Gospel Rescue Mission’s Center of Opportunity. The Workforce Program’s goal is to provide tuition free training opportunities and future employment in four focus areas: Building & Construction Technology, Culinary Arts, Information Technology, and Logistics/Truck Driving

Wright Flight

The Mission of Wright Flight is to use the inherent motivational power of aviation as a stimulus for students to set and achieve higher goals in their educational and personal development. From the examples of aviation role models, we teach students that through commitment and hard work, they can achieve their own goal, earn the reward of exciting aviation-related activities and develop a more positive self-concept.

Sister Jose Women’s Center

Sister José Women’s Center Shelter Expansion Project will add 5,460 more safe nights of sleep for Tucson’s unsheltered women, including women living with multiple disabilities and age-related illness. Our low-barrier center provides women with a stable and safe environment to recuperate from the daily struggle of homelessness and extreme poverty. With this funding, Sister José Women's Center will increase its overnight capacity by 35% and provide secure shelter for fifty-seven women, including their beloved companion pets, every night. Support services help women stabilize their health and begin the process of becoming permanently housed.

The Gregory School

Home of the annual Tucson Classics Car Show, the Gregory School is an independent, coeducational school serving students in grades 5 - 12. Our diverse learning community is the foundation for a high quality academic and social experience for all of our students.

We provided a $10,000 scholarship for a student to attend the Gregory School.

The Rotary Club of Tucson and the Tucson Classics Car Show

Rotary Club of Tucson Members, family, and a Rotary Scholar volunteer at Make Way for Books

Rotary changes lives, builds Fellowship, Eradicates Polio from the world, gives a helping hand and raises funds for local charities, and lives the motto of Service Above Self. In 2007, the Rotary Club of Tucson, and its 501(c)(3) foundation decided to help the community’s less fortunate by starting the Tucson Classics Car Show. This was a way for the Club to increase its commitment to putting Service Above Self. This outreach in Southern Arizona has rewarded those in need and continues to grow every year.

Tucson Classics Car Show has granted over $2.6 million to local charities. Money raised from past shows has helped:
• Children’s literacy
• Vocational training
• Women & teens in need
• Many others throughout the community

Our Story

"It was a great shoot in spite of the temp and it’s going to be a great episode. As I said to you previously, you folks run a very good show. It was concours-level in terms of its execution, but without all the snootiness. Congratulations to all involved on a job very well done! The episode is tentatively scheduled to air on May 11 on Motor Trend (and repeat on Nov 9), but we will have it up on YouTube well before that. I’ll keep you posted on the release date. Again, it was great working with you Lee (I never have had the operational support you provided). You all have a lot to be proud of with that show!"
